The criteria used for this year's rankings include research teaching quality graduate employability and international outlook .Upon receiving the news, NUS President Professor Shih Choon Fong said, "We are encouraged and heartened to be ranked once again among the world's leading universities and one of Asia's top three. Our position within the top 20 this year is a recognition of NUS' global standing by the international community.
